News of the Week
Following a Change.org petition drive garnering over 60,000 signatures, the State Senate and Assembly have both unanimously voted in favor of naming a Marin tunnel on Highway 101 after long-time resident Robin Williams. Signage should be installed by early fall.

"(He) knew how to make us laugh, and that made people feel like they knew him. He had a career that transcended the Bay Area, and this tunnel was part of his daily commute."
-- Assemblyman Marc Levin (D-San Rafael), bill sponsor

"I'll call it the Robin Williams Tunnel. It might take people a bit to get used to it, and I might even slip and call it the Waldo Tunnel. I think it's a nice way to remember him since he loved it here."
-- Sal Castaneda, KTVU traffic reporter

"He was my neighbor. I often saw him running errands, walking the dog, performing at the local theater, working at the coffee shop."
-- Julie Wainwright, Belvedere resident / Change.org petition originator / former Pets.com CEO

"People going into Marin County say, 'My God, look at that little rainbow. Isn't that cute? They lied. They lied to you - it's an ethnic detector."
 -- Robin Williams

Food
Señor Sisig
San Francisco, CA
(855) 747-4455
Yelp - 4 stars (907 reviews)

It's clearly one of the best food trucks around, and it was also one of the first. The Filipino fusion food has won the best food truck award from SF Weekly for the past four years, and it's been featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives." Basically, it's a burrito stuffed with garlic rice, a protein (such as marinated pork shoulder), and a cilantro cream sauce. Check out their website for locations; today, they're in Mission Rock, two downtown locations, and Upper Haight.
