San Francisco appears likely to become the first city in the U.S. to require the posting of radiation levels emitted from mobile phones. DVD Pick - Whip It (PG-13): I'm really not sure why this film got so utterly ignored. Ellen Page ("Juno") is once again enchanting, this time as a small-town teenage girl who decides to join a roller-derby team in Austin. Director Drew Barrymore has a fun bit-part in the film, and Jimmy Fallon tries hard to corral the independent-minded ladies to victory. Santa Clara city voters approved a measure by a 60-40 margin that paves the way for a new stadium housing the San Francisco 49ers. The team spent $4 million to sway the minds of 46,000 registered voters. Charity: The East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse. Founded in 1979, this Oakland nonprofit collects and sells donated materials for artists, teachers, and households (36,000 annual customers). "Shrek Forever After" topped the charts for the second straight weekend with $43.3 million [4367 theatres; $9,918 per theatre; $133.1 million overall]. "Sex and the City 2" underwhelmed with $31.0 million [3445 theatres; $8,999 per theatre]. "Prince of Persia," based on the popular video game, opened with $30.1 million [3646 theatres; $8,254 per theatre]. The action comedy "MacGruber" continued to plummet, with $1.6 million in its second weekend [2546 theatres; $615 per theatre; $7.2 million overall].
