A duo from a Montana-based theater non-profit made the long journey to Oakland's Hillcrest School, and produced a "Treasure Island" musical in one week. Each year, over 1000 schools are visited across the country.

If I could have, Lahore Karahi would have made the Guide, no problem. But chef-owner Guddu has reemerged with a new Indian-Pakistani restaurant in the Avenues to great success. As long as you are patient, you will be duly rewarded with fantastic masala, curry, naan, and tandoori. It's BYOB too!

Underserved Bay Area youths in the 4th-6th grades are given free outdoor education trips at the Optimist Youth Camp, a 100-acre site in San Gregorio. They learn cheese making (and have it for supper), take hikes in the redwoods, explore tidepools, and harvest enough organic vegetables for the evening salad.

A duo from a Montana-based theater non-profit made the long journey to Oakland's Hillcrest School, and produced a "Treasure Island" musical in one week. Each year, over 1000 schools are visited across the country.

If I could have, Lahore Karahi would have made the Guide, no problem. But chef-owner Guddu has reemerged with a new Indian-Pakistani restaurant in the Avenues to great success. As long as you are patient, you will be duly rewarded with fantastic masala, curry, naan, and tandoori. It's BYOB too!

Underserved Bay Area youths in the 4th-6th grades are given free outdoor education trips at the Optimist Youth Camp, a 100-acre site in San Gregorio. They learn cheese making (and have it for supper), take hikes in the redwoods, explore tidepools, and harvest enough organic vegetables for the evening salad.
