The 2015 municipal election takes place in four days, so if you haven't submitted your absentee ballot yet, and you live in SF, consider this a resource for you. Races for Mayor, District Attorney, City Attorney, and Treasurer are not in the spotlight this year. The most competitive races are for District 3 supervisor (North Beach/Chinatown) and Sheriff. Below are the summaries of the 11 city propositions.

Proposition A: Affordable Housing Bond
Issue up to $310 million in bonds to fund affordable housing programs.

It's the southern answer to our $4 toast or $15 ramen. You start with a $3 biscuit and add assorted toppings such as a gravy flight or housemade vegan chorizo. A wide selection of jams and chutneys await you in the center of the cafe. Under our table was a terrarium of assorted low-water plants. Definitely worth a stop!

The docent guided several of us around the former Woolworth building to listen to news reports, use interactive displays, learn about the civil rights movement, and (most importantly) see the actual counter at which four young men launched the sit-in campaign in 1960. Very impressive museum.

The 2015 municipal election takes place in four days, so if you haven't submitted your absentee ballot yet, and you live in SF, consider this a resource for you. Races for Mayor, District Attorney, City Attorney, and Treasurer are not in the spotlight this year. The most competitive races are for District 3 supervisor (North Beach/Chinatown) and Sheriff. A wide selection of jams and chutneys await you in the center of the cafe. Under our table was a terrarium of assorted low-water plants. Definitely worth a stop!

The docent guided several of us around the former Woolworth building to listen to news reports, use interactive displays, learn about the civil rights movement, and (most importantly) see the actual counter at which four young men launched the sit-in campaign in 1960. Very impressive museum.
