The twin brothers helped found the German rock band when they were only 11 years old. Their German-language albums hit the top five on the charts of Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland. Once they switched to English for many of their songs, they added Sweden and Portugal to their top-five list. Tokio Hotel is following up a series of sold out shows from London to Zurich with a rare visit to the States. Its local stop is a July 27 show at the Fillmore, with MXMS opening.

Uber, the wildly popular ride-sharing service based in San Francisco, filed a series of rebuttals to a federal class-action lawsuit from three drivers seeking reclassification as employees.

I took advantage of a rare weekday holiday to finally try this lasagna shop in Dogpatch. It's only open weekdays until 5pm, so for a typical worker, this might be a stretch for you. But if you do have the opportunity to play tour guide or take a mental health day, stop by for some tasty housemade pasta. My recommendation is the abruzzo, which is a mildly spicy Italian sausage lasagna with three types of cheese.

Uber, the wildly popular ride-sharing service based in San Francisco, filed a series of rebuttals to a federal class-action lawsuit from three drivers seeking reclassification as employees.

I took advantage of a rare weekday holiday to finally try this lasagna shop in Dogpatch. It's only open weekdays until 5pm, so for a typical worker, this might be a stretch for you. But if you do have the opportunity to play tour guide or take a mental health day, stop by for some tasty housemade pasta. My recommendation is the abruzzo, which is a mildly spicy Italian sausage lasagna with three types of cheese.

It's the fourth annual literary festival in Uptown Oakland, during which you can visit three different venues for one-hour readings. Locations include Legionnaire Saloon, Spice Monkey, Farley's East Cafe, and the Telegraph Beer Garden.

This festival honoring one's ancestors takes place at San Jose's Buddhist Church in Japantown. Taiko, traditional Odori dance, and Japanese food will greet attendees.
