Founded in 1776, this seventh California religious parish, better known as Mission Dolores, is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco. The Hitchcock film Vertigo shot a scene here during the 1950s. Today, a cemetery remains on site, and the church continues holding Catholic mass services.

Founded in 1776, this seventh California religious parish, better known as Mission Dolores, is the oldest surviving structure in San Francisco. The Hitchcock film Vertigo shot a scene here during the 1950s. Today, a cemetery remains on site, and the church continues holding Catholic mass services.
