They make a couple of gins (one of which is 100 proof), a couple of rums, a vodka, and orange bitters. I brought a reasonably priced bottle of the "weaker" gin back home. This tunnel, originally constructed in 1884 and sealed in 1978, reopened in 2010 as a pedestrian and bicycle pathway between San Rafael and Larkspur. Cycling to the ferry via the short tunnel can take a remarkably quick five minutes - faster than an auto. The tunnel offers cell phone access and wheelchair accessibility.

Cal Park Hill Tunnel
This tunnel, originally constructed in 1884 and sealed in 1978, reopened in 2010 as a pedestrian and bicycle pathway between San Rafael and Larkspur. Cycling to the ferry via the short tunnel can take a remarkably quick five minutes - faster than an auto. The tunnel offers cell phone access and wheelchair accessibility.

The nonprofit, founded by architect Jane Martin, is approaching nine years of transformative work in San Francisco. Efforts to convert sidewalk into permeable drought-resistant plant gardens have been widespread, from the Bayview and Potrero Hill, to the Outer Sunset and the Tenderloin. The group has numerous volunteer opportunities for those who are inclined.

1. Cherry Blossom Festival: Saturday-Sunday, 10am-5pm
Usher in the colorful blooms of springtime with this Japantown festival featuring SF Taiko Dojo, Japanese tea ceremony, origami, bonsai, and ancient swords. Prepare for crowds if you decide to sleep in a bit.
2. Walk to Work Day: Friday
Walk with your area supervisor to work from locations such as Velo Rouge Cafe, Whole Foods Castro, and Precita Park Cafe. Score some free Clif bars, Clipper cards, fresh fruit, and coffee.
3. Cal Day: Saturday, 9am-6pm
Catch a lecture from multiple Noble laureates, explore a robot lab, stop by the Berkeley Art Museum, and watch the UC Berkeley Chamber Orchestra or indie group Real Estate. It's a day of activities for the general public and prospective students to explore the campus. Um, Go Stanford!
