Event News
Dining Out For Life is today in the Bay Area and other communities across the nation. Participating restaurants will donate at least 25% of food (and, for some, beverage) sales to local AIDS organizations. Go out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and revel in supporting a good cause. www.diningoutforlife.com

Local News
Sunday Streets, in its second year, proved to be a success. Bicyclists, walkers, roller skaters, and Segway riders poured onto the Embarcadero, normally a very busy route for autos. Individuals participated in yoga classes, rock climbing, hula hooping, and base-running at AT&T Park. Five additional Sundays are slated for similar events in San Francisco later this year. www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2009/04/27/BALM179FDR.DTL
