Bay Area Holiday Weekend Weather
It'll be a wet Christmas. The driest days should be Friday (happy shopping) and Sunday.

Highs: low-to-mid-50s
Lows: mid-30s (inland) to mid-40s (coast)

Environmental News
Your used cooking oil should not go down the drain, as this causes sewer clogs and costly city repairs. Store the oil in leakproof containers, and then compost it or give it to a biofuel producer. SFGreasecycle is collecting used oil (no food scraps or soap please) for biofuel production at Whole Foods and Costco stores from December 27-30.

Previous:
Various restaurants (from Cheesecake Factory to Tartine Bakery to Foreign Cinema), wineries, wine retailers, and Whole Foods stores will be collecting used corks for the next several months. They will be recycled by the world's #1 producer of natural cork, a Portuguese company called Amorim & Irmaos.
