This French animated story is about a young Iranian girl growing up during the Islamic Revolution and eventually going to school in Austria. It’s currently nominated for Best Foreign Film (Golden Globes and Independent Spirit Awards), and it’s already won the Jury Prize (Cannes Film Festival) and Best Animated Film (NY Film Critics and LA Film Critics).
