If this doesn't move you, something's the matter. On Tuesday morning, a 25-year-old cyclist named Gregory was heading to the local clinic for treatment on his heart condition. He and his mom have been living in an RV after she lost her law license and Berkeley home two years ago. Gregory was knocked 30 feet from his bicycle in West Oakland by an 81-year-old pickup driver. Robbers then stole the wallets of both Gregory and the driver. Gregory remains in critical condition with a brain injury, broken arm and pelvis, kidney damage, and a crushed spleen.

Injera - the thick flatbread used to pick up those meats and veggies - is abundantly provided. Honey wine is also a popular item to supplement the meal.

While the mac-n-cheese is admittedly quite tasty, the focus here is on the house brews. Currently, six are available in the $6 range, and none would appear to be particularly bitter or hoppy. I liked the Rye Pale Ale. House wine, well drinks, and tap beer are $1 off during happy hour. The overall mood is fairly chill, a good fit for the Inner Sunset.

Laguna Honda Reservoir

Holding approximately 44 million gallons, Laguna Honda was first built in 1865. A pipeline was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and never repaired. Several years ago, the area took local news by storm in two separate incidents: a fire-abatement plan to use goats, and the clearing of a sizable homeless encampment. Today, the lake is managed by the SF Public Utilities Commission, though efforts are underway to transfer the property to the SF Parks & Recreation Department.

The no-kill organization is named after Milo, a deaf-blind Australian Shepherd that the Director adopted during the '90s. While the mac-n-cheese is admittedly quite tasty, the focus here is on the house brews. Currently, six are available in the $6 range, and none would appear to be particularly bitter or hoppy. I liked the Rye Pale Ale. House wine, well drinks, and tap beer are $1 off during happy hour. The overall mood is fairly chill, a good fit for the Inner Sunset.

Laguna Honda Reservoir

Holding approximately 44 million gallons, Laguna Honda was first built in 1865. A pipeline was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and never repaired. Several years ago, the area took local news by storm in two separate incidents: a fire-abatement plan to use goats, and the clearing of a sizable homeless encampment. Today, the lake is managed by the SF Public Utilities Commission, though efforts are underway to transfer the property to the SF Parks & Recreation Department.

The no-kill organization is named after Milo, a deaf-blind Australian Shepherd that the Director adopted during the '90s. A 283-acre sanctuary in Mendocino County complements an adoption space in Point Richmond. Volunteers are needed in Point Richmond for animal care, dog walking, and administration.
